I have been ordering Omega flax seed oil (non-lignan) for over 7 years, and recently ordered it again. I had to order it from OmegaNutrition.com though. Omega Nutrition itself used to sell its flax seed oil on Amazon.com, and still does sell other items there, but the one glaring omission to the product line currently available on Amazon is the (non-lignan) flax seed oil, in any size container, for any price. Omega's flax seed oil is not even available from any Amazon merchants (as it used to be Apr 2022 and prior), which means you have to order it directly from Omega's own web site, or purchase it from a local retailer (which is not an option in my area), and that can be pricey. Speaking of price, it has fluctuated in the years I've been ordering it <<< $26.89USD on Mar 18, 2018 from/by Amazon, $27.25USD on Jul 3, 2018 & Oct 26, 2018 & Jan 28, 2019 & May 28, 2019 & Sep 20, 2019 from/by Amazon, $24.61 Jan 7, 2020 from/by Amazon, $30.62 Jan 7, 2020 from Amazon by HealthyTrader, $31.57 Sep 25, 2020 from Amazon by VerSure, $33.77 Feb 28, 2021 from Amazon by VerSure, $35.70 Apr 1, 2022 from Amazon by VerSure, and $31.99 from OmegaNutrition.com as of today >>>. As of today, Apr 28, 2025, they do offer free shipping when you purchase from their OmegaNutition.com site, but you have to spend $60.00USD to get it, which is not always in the budget. As a matter of fact, I am writing this review in exchange for a "Leave-a-review-and-get-15%-off-your-next-order" discount code - I hope it comes through. It would have been nice for the offer to have mentioned if this review would be posted in part or in whole somewhere on the internet - we'll see. It would also be nice if Omega would put a flip-top or push-pull top on their flax seed oil bottles so that the oil could be more easily dispensed and so the oil wouldn’t run down the side of the bottle and onto the refrigerator shelf as much as it does. As of now, the user has to unscrew the cap to dispense the oil, and then, you have to hope you can pour it slow enough to not waste any if not measuring it out (e.g., topping salads). Even if you do, some oil still runs down the side, which means additional wiping of the bottle and of the fridge. Thankfully the correct size/thread flip-top lids are available on different products at common retailers here in the United States, such as the new black flip-top lids on the "soy sauce" from ALDI. Although Omega's recent product line image rework has meant the traditional blue bottles and logo are no longer being used, and that the black bottles now being used make their flax seed oil seem very much like all the other flax seed oil out there, the oil itself seems to be the same high-quality flavor, texture, and viscosity as it has been in the past. Time will tell if it stays that way.
