Tomato Basil Bruschetta

Bruschetta is the perfect appetizer for parties! This recipe is so light and full of fresh flavors. We’re gonna drop a reel on how to make this dish soon but for now…here is how to make it:

Ingredients

  • Omega Nutrition products in this recipe: 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar, 1 tbsp Flaxseed Oil, 2 tbsp Avocado Oil
  • 1 baguette, French bread, or similar Italian bread
  • Ripe tomatoes (about 1 1/2 pounds)
  • 6 to 8 fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced or chopped
  • 1 medium onion
  • Sprinkle of Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Salt & pepper

Method

  • Brush sliced baguette with avocado oil and bake for 15min (pre-heat oven to 450F)
  • Chop in small pieces tomato, onion, and fresh basil
  • Add two tablespoon of Omega Flax Oil and stir
  • Don’t forget salt and pepper
  • When you’re ready to serve, drain the excess tomato juice and top each toast with the mixture
  • FINAL TOUCH: drizzle with Omega Balsamic Vinegar
  • Serve promptly for freshness
