Protein Panckakes
Pan-Cakes! Pan-Cakes! Pan-Cakes!
Regular pancakes have minimal protein and are loaded with carbs. These packages made with Omega Nutrition Plant-Based Protein Powder and Omega Nutrition Flax Powder are high in plant-based protein and fiber! Healthy! Tasty! Nutritious! Here's what you'll need to make these:
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk of your choice (we used oat milk)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup pancake mix (1 cup oat flour + 4 tsp baking powder)
- 2 tbsp Omega Nutrition Flax Powder
- 1 tbsp Omega Nutrition Plant-Based Protein Powder
Method

Place a non-stick skillet on the stove over medium heat. Add Omega Nutrition Coconut Oil or butter and let melt.

Mix the egg with protein powder, and pancake mix in a large bowl. Add oat milk a little at a time until the batter is pancake batter consistency.

Using a cup, pour out the batter into the skillet. They are ready to flip when bubble start to form on the top.

Serve with your favourite toppings: vegan butter, maple syrup, chocolate chips or fruits (raspberry, blueberries etc...)
